Uladzislau Hancharou of Belarus made his senior international debut at the 2013 World Championships, where he qualified for the final but finished eighth. A year later, he performed a daringly difficult routine to win a bronze medal at the 2014 Worlds. His goals for Rio are a bit modest, he told FIG Gymnastics in 2014. “Maybe silver!” he said. “I want to go gradually. Silver in Rio, and then after that, maybe gold." Hancharou already achieved his silver dream at the 2015 World Championships, finishing second behind China’s Gao Lei.
