Greubel Poser won a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics for the United States with brakeman Aja Evans. The Cornell University track and field star was encouraged to try bobsled by a collegiate teammate. She started her bobsled career as a brakeman, and has since become a pilot. In 2017, she won the World Cup overall title and claimed her first world championship medal, a bronze.

Greubel Poser was a heptathlete and a pentathlete at Cornell University. She broke multiple school records, and was inducted into the Cornell Athletics Hall of Fame.


She is nicknamed the “Blonde Dragon” because she is a fierce competitor.


She is married to German push athlete Christian Poser, who also competed at the 2014 Olympics.
