Biography
While Germany’s Eric Frenzel was on skis by the time he was 2, it wasn’t until he reached 6 years old that he made his first jump. His father then soon introduced him to Nordic combined. Frenzel won back-to-back Olympic golds (2014, 2018) in the individual normal hill/10km. At the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, he reached the podium, earning a bronze in the team event. In 2014, he also won a silver medal in the team event. On the world championships stage, he owns six team medals and three individual medals.
