Biography

Norway’s Daniel-Andre Tande finished in third place for the overall World Cup title during the 2016-17 season, and his coach lauded him as Norway’s best. He finished the 2017 season at the world championships, where was 10th on the large hill and 15th on the normal hill. He earned a silver medal on the large hill team event and finished fifth in the normal hill team event. All that was despite the fact that the four-time national champion was sidelined for six weeks prior to the start of the season in the summer of 2016 with a stress fracture in his leg.
