Biography

Bryony Page of Great Britain had a solid junior career on the Great Britain trampoline squad, but as she moved to the senior ranks in 2009 she began to suffer from “lost move syndrome.” A trampoline term for getting confused in the air and being unable to complete skills that were once easy, lost move syndrome can deeply affect a trampolinist’s confidence. Page described it as her worst nightmare, but soon after overcoming this setback she earned a fourth place finish at the 2010 World Championships. Page missed out on the 2012 London Olympics when Great Britain earned only one spot for women’s trampoline, which went to Kat Driscoll. Page placed fifth and Driscoll finished seventh at the 2015 World Championships, securing the maximum two spots for female trampoline athletes at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
