Feuz is the defending downhill world champion, winning the title in 2017 in front of his home fans in Switzerland with tennis star Roger Federer sitting in the front row. He also claimed the downhill bronze medal at the 2015 World Championships. He made his Olympic debut in 2014, finishing 13th in downhill.

Getting to know Beat Feuz


Feuz made a name for himself at the 2007 Junior World Championships, claiming the downhill, super-G and combined titles.


He was sidelined in 2016 while suffering from facial paralysis. He had similar symptoms as a teenagers.


Besides skiing, he enjoys cycling and playing tennis.
